Rick McKee (Tulsa, OK) is a senior music composition major at Oklahoma City University and is already making his musical mark with entertainment giants all around the world. Rick began making his music known to Disney fans during his freshman year at OCU by composing the theme song for a popular Disney fan website, "Visions Fantastic". From his exposure there, he was asked to compose the 2006 Disney Music Convention theme song. It was then when composer and producer Jonathan Barr (who also happened to be Rick's favorite Disney composer) discovered Rick's work and hired him to compose and produce music for his production company, The Imagination House. Through The Imagination House, Rick was hired to compose the theme song for the Disney Cruise Line, "Adventures Away". Rick also composed, "Our Halloween Party" for Tokyo Disneyland's 2007 Halloween Parade and arranged a portion of their castle forecourt show, "Super Duper Jumpin' Time". He has also composed and produced music for the Jenks, Oklahoma Centennial Celebration, wrote an arrangement for country music star, Bryan White's new CD, composed for the Miss Oklahoma Pageant, the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, and writes regularly for the OCU Orchestra.

More recently, Rick composed and scored the music for the OCU motion picture, "Unsolved", and through the Imagination House, sequenced and arranged the music for a musical produced by Macy's which is set to debut at Macy's in New York City in late November. Two of his latest projects with the Imagination House have been for Seaworld. One show will open during the holidays and will feature Rick's gospel arrangement of "The First Noel" for the Dolphin, Whale/Trainer ballet. The other is a dramatic, indoor theater production called "A'lure: The Call of the Ocean", written and produced by the Imagination House with a score by Mike Avila, Jeff Smith (two of Rick's over favorite composers and arrangers) and Rick. He is currently working on music for a new parade at Walt Disney World, which is set to premiere in 2009.

Upon his graduation in May, Rick will be returning to Orlando to take a full-time position with the Imagination House as Associate Music Producer.
